Process Engineer
Primary purpose:
This position is responsible for providing process engineering support for the safe and efficient operation of gas plant, compression and other oilfield related facilities. Essential duties and

Receives training in various aspects of process engineering. Completes process engineering assignments of limited scope and complexity. Assists in performing engineering projects related to gas plants, compressor facilities and other production/processing-related facilities.Assists in troubleshooting plant operations.Participates in process hazards analysis studies Position level commensurate with experience and skill set.

ExtMinimum requirements:
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.Experience / specific knowledge:
1-3 years experience in the oil and gas and/or pipeline industry. Certifications, licenses, registrations:
Valid driver s license and acceptable driving record may be required.Competencies, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge of basic Engineering principlesPerforms routine Engineering tasks to expand knowledge and experienceProvide straightforward solutions to problemsFollows prescribed procedures and conducts analyses to develop design options or recommendationsWork on a small portion of a larger projectWorks under direct supervision, but displays initiative and moves toward requiring less supervisionParticipates in defining engineering approaches and in planning and scheduling work.Able to learn and utilize process modeling software.Able to learn plant control systems. Physical demands:
Significant travel to field, plant and/or construction sites as needed.May be a safety sensitive position. Working conditions:
50/50 office and plant site (outside) work locationsWorking after hours, nights, weekends, holidays and on-call as neededSupervisory responsibility:
N/APreferred education, experience, certifications, competencies, skills, and abilities:
Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:
Masters degree in engineering. Professional Engineering license.
